Let’s go find a place to hide
Away from here, so far away
Where even we will belong
The people there won’t laugh or stare
Instead they’ll say, “how you been today?”
And even the children will smile
It’s hard to be unwelcome here
Burdened by these hateful eyes
If people put aside their fears
They’d see what really lies inside
As time goes by the young grow old
And they’ll remember everything they’re told
So teach them things that are right
And when, someday, they pass us by
They won’t judge us by what’s outside
Instead they’ll see who we are
Every time it’s all the same
Approach the freaks or walk away
No one asks to be this way
But we won’t change who we are
